The Forge in Ireland

... Cead Mile Failte ...

A hundred thousand welcomes to you!

You are being called Home...

Come home to yourself.
Craft a Sound.
Sound the Call.
Let the Earth know you are here!

"Hey Earth - I'm at Home!!  What can we create together?"

We are inviting you to a homecoming...one that you may have been asking for or one that you have always known existed but had no idea where you would start to find it...

What is home?
Where is home?
Are you at home?

This place, this land on the southern coastal edge of Donegal welcomes you to a Homecoming Retreat.

If you would like to meet your own maker self or Creator Self as you craft a gloriously alive instrument, a singing bowl that will carry the vibrational possibilities of a future you've been asking for...get in touch and secure your place on this very special Celtic Call to Home.

We are offering an additional day following on from the Forging that takes us out into the wider spaces of the nearby soft and strong power places. To have your new instrument go out and play with the elemental beings along the local river and the enchanted woods and mountains is something we would not want you, or them, to miss.
We offer this day as an optional extra but to be honest it really is an integral piece of the retreat and it brings a richness that is nearly impossible to describe in words.

This is where the invitation to living with your bowl and Sound Weaving really begins!

The Heart and Soul of Sound Alchemy
A Homecoming Retreat and Workshop to Forge your own Singing Bowl or Bell

A three or four day residential or non-residential
Singing Bowl Making Workshop
& A Day of Sound Weaving and Co-Creation with Sound*

@ Villa Nova Retreat Sanctuary, County Donegal, Ireland

Friday 14th - Sunday 16th  or Monday17th June

We offer this workshop on a residential or non-residential basis so as to make it possible for local and traveling soundsmiths!

There are no pre-requisites to forging a singing bowl or tubular bell. read on...

If you have ever wondered what it is to be in the mystery and awe of creation you may find it here - a generous and peaceful space for co-creating sound. Through the alchemy of creating your own singing bowl in connection with the ancients and the elementals of this peaceful haven in County Donegal you will experience transformation at many levels. Through this work of metal and sound smithing we draw upon the Elements of Craft, the Elementals of Nature and our place as co-creators within the circle of life on Earth.

Would you like to

- Receive from, engage and create with the elements and elementals – creating and inviting totally new possibilities for     your future and that of the Earth?
- Experience yourself as a co-creator with the elements – crafting and forging a fine sounding instrument
in communion with the metal, the Earth and the elements?
-
Experience and begin to learn to use sound and sound weaving as an incredibly powerful tool for transformation and   creation?   (This will be offered as part of the day for Co-creating and Sound Weaving with the Land - Monday 17th)

All of our days begin and close with Sound to assist and create the vibrational field for meditation and centering. The process of making is one through which you will not only be guided to work with your hands and the metals but also to hone your own reflective heart, inviting the elemental forces of nature and a co-creative consciousness to assist the crafting of a sounding vessel that will assist the transformation you are called to invite for your own life and future.

There are no pre-requisites to crafting a singing bowl, only the desire to craft an instrument that may bring forth a new vibrational possibility for your own life.

"Earth changing realities in the most profoundly simple of ways"

Our Venue:  Villa Nova Retreat House, Bundoran, Co. Donegal

Villa Nova is a quiet and large retreat house, lovingly referred to as the old lady. 'She' opens her doors and heart as a generous host for groups of people working closely with the transformation of spirit and earth, and houses a hearth that is kept warmed and fed by the compassionate fire of Brigid, also the keeper of the forge in the Celtic way.

The accommodation is simple and comfortable. Each person will be provided with a single room with linen and a wash hand basin and shared bathroom facilities. We will have generous and delicious food prepared and provided with predominantly plant based  meals being prepared specially for us. Some of the vegetables will come in from the organic community garden at Villa Nova if the season allows.

In the true tradition of the Celtic hearth the fire represents the energy of presence and constancy, a quality that supports and nourishes the well being of the makers, the house, the land and those new instruments that are coming into being. This hearth space will be kept burning throughout each workshop. We are blessed to have Brigid, our friend from previous workshops come to join us as part of our team, lighting the hearth and keeping the heart flame burning for all who are gathering their for this  Celtic Call.

There is much assistance and even magic as you open yourself along the way...

“Working with Gabriella and Heather has been the deepest and most profound experience of transformation for me. Never before have I felt so safe in a workshop. My process with my bowl was tough at times, and always - like a miracle - one of these  beautiful enablers showed up to be with me. Sometimes to support me in the handling of the tools, sometimes to listen, sometimes to just be in silence together for a while, sometimes to ask this one question that allowed me to move on....souls who can hold the rim of the circle in wondrous ways… each bringing a unique voice to the whole. They co-create a sacred vessel - a healing sanctuary. Forging my own singing bowl has allowed me to re-connect with the elemental energies.”
