Come and spend three glorious summer days and two nights living close to the land as you bring a hand forged sounding instrument into existence. These days invite a celebration! We will come together and celebrate the community of bowl makers, the sound beings and the land that is FellEdge, Yorkshire. Through forging and easing into the co-creative energies available through working with metal and sound we will create a forging community ... a central smithing fire of sound and alchemy on the edge of Ilkley Moor! For new and experienced bowl makers this workshop is an opportunity to enter into the beautiful and powerful field of an ancient and new way of creating sound in conscious collaboration with all of life. The days will be woven through with the heart of sound crafting, the hammers a chorus of metal on metal and wood on metal ... with an occasional personal 'ping' as you explore the sound that is coming into form through the various stages of alchemical transformation and chaos. ... a generous and powerful space for co-creating. We encourage you to come and stay on the land with us during these days but of course you are welcome to sleep somewhere close by and join us again each day from 9 30 - dusk. You will be given ample space to make contact with your own process ... a tuning in to the greater silence that these instruments call forth as well as social circles around an evening fire or the shared meals. Felledge Farm, nr Addingham, Yorkshire Workshop From 2 30pm Friday 9th - 6 30pm Sunday August 11th Camping arrivals from 12pm on Friday 9th with an option to stay over for another evening around the fire and under the stars and leaving on Monday morning. Villa Farm is the home of Barbara and Christopher Weavers. Barbara is by her own admission a Bowl Addict and totally devoted to Nature and the many spiritual beings that live and co-create with her there. You will be warmly welcomed to an enchanted and thriving home and garden in the heart of England. The vilage of Staunton is within easy reach of Gloucester train station and borders two other counties - Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Full Camping Residential £425 Non-Residential £375 Cost of materials is an additional charge based on metal chosen - approx £12 - £35 A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your place. The workshop price includes two lunches and one supper and all snacks and drinks throughout. For those who are non-resident we are happy to include you in the evening meals for an additional price as per the booking form. The cost of materials is not included.
